GT Program

Mission Statement:

Carroll County Public Schools' Gifted and Talented Education Program, as an integral part of the community learning culture, will provide identified students with a continuum of services based on sound theory and research to meet the needs of highly able learners and to maximize student achievement.

Each of the seven essential criteria of gifted education programming, as stated by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) http://www.nagc.org, is embedded in the goals of the school system's newly structured program.
